Modern Gymnastics schedules classes for any age, interest, and level of experience right in our East Cobb gym.

Boys and Girls General Gymnastics:
Coach Alec working with intermediate floor skills with his students. Coach Alec works on Bars with an intermediate level student.
Coach Alec works backhandsprings and round-off backhandspring drills with his intermediate girls
  • Ages: 5 years and older
  • Description: Gymnasts are grouped by age and ability (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and learn basic to advanced skills on each event: floor, bars, balance beam, vault, and trampoline.
  • No experience necessary, boys and girls can begin at ANY age!
  • Our schedule is set up first by age and then children are divided up in to classes within the hour according to skill level; therefore, you will be placed in a class that will challenge you!
  • Ratio: 8 to 1: gymnast to coach

Payment:

1 class / week $120 / 2 Month Session
2 classes / week $230 / 2 Month Session
3 classes / week $340 / 2 Month Session


Advanced Classes:
  • Ages: 5 years and older
  • Must have prior experience to enroll.
  • Description: Gymnasts will be evaluated before they enter this class to be sure they have mastered the beginner and intermediate gymnastics skills required to participate. This class is for the advanced gymnast who is ready for a more intense workout.
  • Ratio: Maximum of 8 to 1

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!

Clothing:

While there is no required matching uniform while participating in activities in the gym, we do request children wear either a leotard or shorts with a tight t-shirt to ensure safety on the equipment and while performing skills. Shop our Virtual Pro-shop for examples and purchasing of great apparel and leotards!

Reminder! All class prices assume the child’s membership status is current. Thanks!

Private Lessons:

  • Open to any age and skill level!
  • Description: Offered for gymnastics and tumbling and encouraged if your child would like more individual attention. With this extra personal attention, gymnasts and tumblers progress more rapidly towards the mastery of any particular skill. This is a fun way to improve more quickly, master new skills, or relearn old ones!
  • You may request a favorite coach, or we will choose one best for your particular needs:
    • 30 minute lesson: $25*
    • Hour lesson: $45*
Note: There is a 50% cancellation fee for no-shows unless the child/parent gives the instructor at least 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled lesson.

Classes Missed?

Fill out a “make-up request form” the next time you are in the gym, and we will call to let you know when there is availability. For your scheduling purposes, make-ups are typically scheduled the last Friday of every month.

*Private lesson prices assume that the child’s $35 annual registration fee for insurance is current! Thanks.

Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment, but Modern Gymnastics will call and let you know before the start date.
